Times of great challenge, crisis or loss
lead us to reflect
on what really matters.
My heart aches for those in L.A.
and the decimation of so many homes
I’ve stayed in & loved over the years…
Having arrived from the
land of ice and snow
in Antarctica (video below)
to scenes of an apocalyptic inferno,
it’s hard to find the words.
So I wanted to share
someone else’s––
what I found to be one of
the most beautiful posts recently.
It comes from legendary actor
Anthony Hopkins who wrote,
“As we all struggle to heal
from the devastation
of these fires, it’s important
to remember that the
only thing we take with us
is the love we give.”
To that, I would add,
we also take the memories.
A good reminder for us all…
Risk Forward & Live On,
P.S. For those who have asked for additional images from Antarctica, here’s a 2-minute video. The stillness-purity-majesty is otherworldly, putting so much into perspective.
