Well, I got quite teary on stage
at the end of my keynote this week.
Why? I was truly moved.
The room was filled with leaders
from Topgolf, a company devoted
to the “Unlimited Power of Play.”
Over these weeks,
I’ve written a bit about
the importance of playfulness
and the value it holds in fostering
productivity, collaboration, and innovation.
But when it comes to play
as an end in and of itself
…well, that’s quite profound.
In a world filled with so much strife,
it’s an inspiring company mission.
And it’s a good reminder
of the preciousness of life
and the opportunity
that each of us has
(regardless of our role)
to bring a bit of joy
and a bit of play
to any given moment.
