My clients and their teams
are facing a lot of change:
AI, budget cuts, the implications of
tariffs…and new organizational structures.
Now more than ever, it’s essential
for leaders to communicate clearly
and effectively with their teams.
Last week,
I was in Palm Springs to
deliver a private Rock The Room®
half-day workshop for 10 women
from the Platinum group of WPO
(Women Presidents Organization)–
a division of women leading
companies that gross
$10-$50 million in revenue.
Although “communication” can easily
be considered a soft skill,
the fact is it’s everything
when it comes to guiding people
through a period of disruption,
clarifying direction and focus,
incentivising teams, getting buy in,
improving client retention/acquisition,
and ultimately, yes, increasing the bottom line.
These women (who are already
at the top of their game) were “all in”
to develop their capabilities.
Regardless of your expertise or role,
it’s worth paying attention
to how you communicate…and
always looking for ways to level up.
Who does it well?
How can you learn?
And what is the gap between
where you are
…and where you would like to be?
