I almost lost my right eye.

a week after the incident.

I share this here for a few reasons:

1. You can make your messaging & remarks relevant and current
2. “If you can’t fix it, feature it.” as I say in Risk Forward. My face was still pretty bruised and swollen at the time, so in spite of the make up, the damage was still evident
3. Why I’m so grateful. Though I now have a few scars around my eye, it’s a miracle I didn’t lose my sight
4. And, when you’re a professional, you do what you can to show up
