Last weekend, I was out on the west coast

to work on site with a private 1:1

Rock The Room® client

who had a high stakes presentation.

When I’m working with any client,

it’s essential that I have a process,

and it’s equally essential

that I be flexible in how I apply it.

While I was with this particular individual,

I had to be acutely tuned in

to his preferences & needs,

so I could adjust on the fly,

especially given the high stakes at hand.

Just as with a performance,

so it is with coaching.
