The CMO had hired me

and within that keynote,
had also asked me to weave in components

to give the store owners a variety of tools.
I had to choose the material carefully;
I had limited time on stage
and there is only so much an audience
can absorb in one sitting.
Whenever you’re communicating,
whether you’re a leader or you’re in sales,
whether you’re a consultant or a parent,
whether you’re in education, law,
tech, healthcare or finance,
rather than ask yourself,
“What’s everything I know
on this topic that could be helpful?”
consider this:
“What does that other person (or group)
need to know now?”
Curation is a huge part of communication.
Learn to take the complex and make it clear.
